Every workflow starts with a conversation, not a blank canvas. The Workflow Plan Modal's left panel is a live chat with Celeron's Automation Agent — describe what you want automated, in plain English. The right panel renders the implementation spec as markdown, updating as you iterate. Once the spec looks right, Celeron moves straight into building it.
The canvas is the primary editing surface — steps run left to right, and every step opens a side panel to configure it. Source options define how items enter the workflow: run one manually against a PDF or Excel upload, or listen automatically for an event like an incoming email. Everything downstream is built from here.
Build Mode implements the spec step by step: parameters, a generated function, and — for anything that reads or writes — a run against a real sample item in the Setup Queue, so you see the actual output before it's ever wired into production. Every step card shows its state at a glance: not yet run, passing, stale, or failing.
Items move through the Queue by status — processing, ready for output, needs attention, awaiting approval. When it's time to write, the Ready for Output panel shows exactly what's about to happen, item by item, with a staging mode to test against sandbox credentials before anything touches production.
